The story is from Turkey. The reason why the author wrote the story down was to record the history of Turkey. The story tells readers not every friend is as good as you think, and sometimes you can’t just tolerate these friends. The writer wrote the story from an objective perspective, because she only wrote the process of the story.

At the beginning of the story, Halil Efendi and his Family lived at Izzet’s house, but this situation troubled Izzet family, because their guest didn’t have a good living habit. Though they often complained about the guest, but the guest still stayed at the house at last. They wanted to drive Halil family out but couldn’t do it. It was not a good idea to continue to tolerate them. Sometimes people helped their friends, but the friends were ungrateful.  Though the story writer didn’t write the ending of the people down, it conveyed to the readers what she wanted to say.

I think the story is funny owing to the host family’s attitude. Even though how terrible the guests were, they just didn’t have courage to refuse. Their timidity may bring them an unbearable future. This story reminds people not to always open the door to everyone.
